Hello My Name Is...Ali Love
2011 has with out a doubt been the year of the 'Love'.
Collaborations with Justice (the track was used for Adidas' biggest advert to date), Luca C & Brigante & Hot Natured (Lee Foss & Jamie Jones)
says it all.
says it all.
The first time you may have unknowingly heard what he has to offer would be back in 2007 on a Chemical Brother's track...
After 2007 his singles gained relative success until in 2010 when Lee Foss remixed his track 'Moscow Girl'.
The laid back deep house vibes perfectly matched Ali's dreamy vocals.
2011 has backed this up with the monstrous success of 'Forward Motion' and 'Different Moral's'.
But Ali has not finished for the year.
He's once again teamed up with Luca C for a new project - 'Infinity Inc'
Their first track, 'Games' came out on Hot Creations at the start of December. Have a listen and keep an eye out for Mr. Love. Big Things..

Contagious
20 year-old Detroit techno-anthem 'Burning' has been given a face lift by the knights of the round table. Still sticking close to the original vocal and melody, the swedes bring their infectious insouciant vibes to the party.
'I was trying to give her that scrambled egg treatment, boil a cabbage,
knock her socks about, you know. Dip my breadstick in her gravy bowl'

The Second Coming Of C
All good things come to an end; therefore the Sound Of C is back.
'If we just kind of woke up tomorrow morning and there were none of these genres, you just had your record collection in front of you, you didn’t know what any of it was called or where it came from, it wouldn’t matter, that would be great! And you’d probably write some amazing music, and you’d love some music that you’d never loved before, because all the connotations and the weird ideas you have about whether it’s cool, and where it comes from, and what scene it is, and who wrote it, and whether you’ve heard it before—those would just be gone. I like that idea.”

Here's the Converse advert which I picked and mixed the music for over the summer. The campaign is for their new high-tops and features yarn artists in Berlin. The track is by Berlin-based techno producer Siriusmo
Some of Mehdi's finest moments boiled down into a tasty duck sauce broth...
As we lose a great producer, another one has resurrected himself. Dave 'Switch' Taylor is back, and it's emotional
Glad to be back. Spread the word
